Richer than our regular Rosé of Pinot Noir. The Hog Wild Rosé jumps out of the glass with bold aromas of watermelon candy, kiwi, guava, and cream soda. Once sipped, it has a luscious, creamy texture with cherry juice and key lime flavors with a long, lingering finish. 114 cases produced

How we make our Hog Wild Rosé

Our Rosé is made of free-run juice collected from hand-picked Pinot Noir grapes as they move through the processing line and fermented clear in stainless steel tanks until all the sugar has been converted into alcohol. We then blend in a little bit of Chardonnay and Riesling to switch things up. The color is achieved by an addition of 2-3% Pinot Noir, giving us the ability to have consistent color year after year. Finished with a screw-cap for continuously fresh and available wine ready for a day at the beach or a hearty holiday meal.

The 2020 Vintage

The 2020 growing season started with a small fruit-set and mild summer weather. Soon we faced the challenges of farming during a pandemic and wildfires, but we, along with our growing partners managed to adapt to the difficulties of the vintage. We ran more laboratory tests than ever before, with dozens of samples sent to multiple laboratories, and are committed to releasing only wines free of smoke-affect that passed our rigorous tests. In 2020 you can expect wines with great concentration and freshness of the fruit.
