“Pike Road is like the best of all Chardonnay worlds. Part of the wine is barrel fermented and aged in large French oak barrels for 8 months, while the remainder is fermented in stainless steel. It offers crisp acidity and a richness of texture. It is also packed with aromas and flavors of Golden Delicious apples, honeycomb, toasted filberts and a hint of tart quince. – Michael Alberty
