“The 2023 Pike Road Wines Fennwood Vineyard Pinot Noir, shaped by 10 months in 22% new French oak, introduces itself with notes of black tea, dried cherry skin, and a faint suggestion of citrus oil carried on cool evening air. The palate feels energetic and clean, layering tart berry fruit with subtle spice and soft floral tones, finishing slightly abbreviated yet refreshing, leaving the senses alert and ready for another taste.” – Jeremy Young
