Our 2023 Matteri Vineyard Pinot Noir has been awarded a 90-point score from International Wine Report:
“The 2023 Pike Road Wines Matteri Vineyard Pinot Noir, aged for 10 months in 22% new French oak, shows a softly glowing purple-red core with a lighter violet rim, opening with notes of dusty florals, ripe boysenberry, nutmeg, and subtle touches of red and black licorice. The palate leans medium to full-bodied, carrying dark fruit, and cedary herbal tones across gently powdery tannins, finishing with a grounded, savory character that feels composed and quietly expressive.” – Jeremy Young
